Grain bulkhead closing / Graanshotafdichtingen

Since 1997 the well-known magnetic QuiP grain bulkhead closings have been applied on numerous cargoships. This closings will be used to close the spaces between the removable grain bulkhead and the side of the hold. They are produced custom made of components of high quality. The advantages of the magnetic
QuiP grain bulkhead closings are:
• Very fast and simply to apply and to remove
• There is no contamination of rests of the closing with the cargo (as PUR-foam)
• Closings remains intact in spite of working the ship in heavy seas
• Durably, usable for long time and many cargoes
• The space between the removable grain bulkhead and side of the hold remains clean
• When it is not in use, it demands little place to store


De welbekende magnetische QuiP graanschotafdichtingen zijn sinds 1997 op tal van schepen toegepast. Magnetische QuiP graanschotafdichtingen dienen om de ruimte tussen het verplaatsbare graanschot en de scheepswand af te sluiten. Ze worden door ons op maat geproduceerd uit componenten van hoge kwaliteit.
De grote voordelen van magnetische QuiP graanschotafdichtingen zijn:
• Zeer snel en eenvoudig aan te brengen en te verwijderen
• Er blijven geen resten van de afdichting achter in de lading (zoals bij PUR-foam)
• De afdichting blijft intact ondanks het werken van het schip in zware zeegang
• Duurzaam, dus voor vele reizen te gebruiken
• De ruimte tussen graanschot en ruimwand blijven schoon
• Wanneer het niet in gebruik is, vergt het weinig opberg-ruimte
